From Crossen to Adelaide

Carl August Hermann Piltz b:c1828 Crossen on Oder Brandenburg, was a carpenter and farmer,I do not as yet know of his parents details, but he came to Adelaide South Australia in 1851 on the ship "EMMY" Hamburg to Melbourne then to Adelaide, the captain was JHC Meyer and the surgeon recorded 28 deaths on arrival at Melbourne, the Ship was wrecked on the return voyage via India.

Hermanns brother Joseph Adolh Wilhelm Piltz came to S.A in c:1846 and married Hulda Hankel also Josef Fedinand Hugo Piltz in the 1850s.
Hermann was farming in Blumburg S.A with his relations and was married in 1856,where he was a carpenter by this time,in 1861 Hermann was natulized a British citizen so as to be able to purchase land, which he did and was licensee of the Barossa inn in Lobathnal 1862-63,he then again turned back to carpentry in Gawler S.A,his marriage produced two daughters Emmilie Mathilda 1856-1920(my GGGreatgrandmother) and Emma Hermine 1858-59.

Hermann continued to be a carpenter and when Emmile married in 1876 to a Samuel Snell of Guernsey Channel Islands ,I believe he farmed again as the entire district was settled by mainly German and some British settlers ,this is the Barossa Valley region famous for its wine and vineyards,in the 1870's there was a wholesale internal migration to the colony of Victoria,to the vast unsettled stretches of the Wimmera region of Victoria ,which was suited to wheat growing,Hermann and family moved to the Wimmera to a small town called Minyip and farmed wheat until around 1897 ,Hermann was again Naturalized in Victoria in 1897,when his wife Sussana died, the family appeared to go in thier separate ways around this time 1900-1910 and Hermann moved to a town called Beaufort with his Granddaugher in the central Highlands of Victoria, the Goldrushes of the 1850's had started to peter out near the end of the century, but on the 1906 electrol roll in the state of Victoria was Hermann Piltz "MINER" of Beaufort,he was 79 years old,he died 3 years later in Beaufort and left a will, which in those days suggested a reasonable amount of wealth.

I have a lot of info' on the Piltz/Pilz clan and it has spread right across Australia into New South Wales and Queensland and many like myself decended from a female and so the name vanishes.
If any one can help me with records in Germany mainly BDMs so as to locate Hermanns parents I would appreciate the help.
Have a nice day
